contacted Planetguide
looking to establish
an online presence
to promote their
restaurants and
events.
Planetguide
created a design
concept that
embodied the
sights and
sounds restaurant

felt upon entering
the Serrano’s
environment, by merely
clicking their mouse!
Festive Latin music
and mouth watering
food shots captivate
the web user, luring
them further into the
site for a taste of
more.
Menus
touting the restaurants’ scrumptious
dishes & drinks
were added, to give
the user an idea of
the selections offered, as
well as catering information
for larger parties
and meetings. The management
also needed control
of content in several
areas so they could
change events and items
as needed. Planetguide
responded by providing
them with the latest
software to allow them
control of content
while keeping the site
layout and design in
tact.
Planetguide
also implemented
a password protected
employee area that
their HR department
has complete control
over. This
allows them to post
employee paper work,
memos and forms for
new hires and train
existing staff in new
procedures all via
the internet.
Champagne
Palace
Champagne
Palace’s
original website,
developed by
PlanetGuide in
1997, assisted
in making them
one of the top
wedding facilities
in Louisiana. Several
years later,
PlanetGuide approached
them again, proposing
an update to
their online
presence, thus
keeping them
ahead of the
competition.
Although hesitant
at first to change
what they felt
was “working”,
they were impressed
with the new
services offered
and decided to
move forward. |

PlanetGuide
envisioned a complete
revamp, including
flash intro and flash
header within the
site to give it added
visual appeal and
showcase the facility’s
stunning décor. Our
designers worked diligently
to convey to users
a royal experience
for their special
day. A flash
intro was developed
that integrated classical
music, old world
typefaces, and romantic
wording to welcoming
visitors and drawing
them in for a closer
look at the facility
and its amenities.
A customized
photo gallery and
wedding video was
added to complete
the site and allow
users a full scale
tour of the facility
from the comfort
of their own home.
Champagne Palace’s new site has been commended by end users and competitors
alike.
